Rojan Delyar was born in a small village near the city of Van, Turkey. At that time his father was a guest worker in Germany. At the age of five he and the rest of the family were taken to Cologne by his father. For all his life Rojan has had two big passions: Football and music. During his youth he had preferred football and had seriously thought of a career as football profi player. Several times he had almost reached this goal. Serious sport injuries, however, put a stop to that. Lateron he decided to engage in music more intensely. He took singing lessons and arranged songs. During that time he got to know a German producer. Together with him and a South American female singer he made a recording of ten pop songs. Under the name "Two Worlds" they were expecting a record contract, which, however, was not realized and made the group break up. For Rojan this time of co-operation with musicians of different origins was very inspiring. From then onward he decided to go his own way in the field of music. As he had always been increasingly interested in ethnical music, he then had the idea of recording an album combining Western harmonies with oriental instruments. After a long time of preparation he compiled his repertoire and started the recording in a Colgne sound studio. During this period of time he met the producer Vefa Erol Daylan who showed himself greatly interested in Rojans music and offered him a contract with his label "Vefastudios". Rojan accepted this offer and thus a co-operation was launched which - via several sound studios in Germany and one in Istanbul - led to the successful publication of the album.
